“In 4 months time Kathy and her team completed the down sizing and sale of my Mother’s Nevins condo. We had been down sizing it for the past 12 months as I live out of state and visited monthly. She is very knowledgeable of collectibles and antiques. Items that did not sell at the estate sale were sent to a consignment gallery or she took them to her next estate sale where they sold. "Kathy is more than a realtor. She quickly becomes your guide through the sale process. When our mother passed away, my brother and I were overwhelmed about all that we would have to do regarding her house and all of her possessions. Luckily we spoke with Kathy and she informed us that she could help us with the organizing of her things and an estate sale as well as everything needed to get her house in shape for the market. She was very thorough in explaining the real estate market in the area as well as ways to donate items that were not sold so that they would have a good home.
We had a problem that was complicating things and emotional as well. My mom’s companion would need a place to live when we sold the house and because we would need to do work in the house we didn’t have much time. Kathy was diligent in trying to find a place for him to rent in a price range that suited his needs. She not only found him a place but found him one with another older gentleman who also needed companionship and help paying his bills so he wouldn’t have to sell his home! She was compassionate throughout the whole process and found just the perfect fit. The two men not have spaces of their own and are very happy.
Lastly, knowing that my brother and I lived hours away from the home that we were dealing with she also worked with us to sell our home to the contractor who was doing the work, and then she worked with him to put the home on the market when he had completed it. "What can I say? Kathy was a Godsend when it came to selling our Hooksett, NH house. She made us feel comfortable and helped us get organized right from the start. She helped schedule our pre-sale home inspection and find a reasonably priced dumpster company so we could trash a lot of the junk that we had collected over the 28 years that we lived there. She even arranged for someone to load up our heavier furniture into the storage container we had rented. When it came to the house showings, she was a like a Pitbull, making sure that all other realtors were organized and properly scheduled to view the property with their clients (125 showings in 4.5 days). After all 41offers were submitted, she organized and carefully went over every offer with us and explained all of the pros/cons of each offer. After we accepted the best offer, she and her very talented crew then went through, organized and priced all of the items in the house that we were not interested in taking with us (which was quite a lot). She then planned and conducted a two day "Estate Sale", through her other business, "Lifetime Estate Liquidations", which turned out to be very successful. When all was said and done, we had received a great price on our house and were completely moved out, and ready for the next chapter in our lives. I will say, without any hesitation at all, that we definitely would not have been able to get through the house sale and our move without the benefit of the years of expertise that Kathy Baldridge brings to the table.
